I'm Nicole, the owner and designer behind Salty Barefoot Stays. This stretch of Treasure Island has always felt like a home away from home to me, and I wanted to share that feeling with other people.
When I found the first property, I saw more than a house, I saw a blank canvas. I redesigned it from the ground up, chasing every detail: the layout, the kitchen, the light on the lanai in the morning. What started as my own escape became Barefoot Bliss, and somewhere along the way guests started falling for it the same way I had.
That love for design is what led me to a second property, this time right on the canals of Isles of Capri, The Salty Flamingo. Same care, same eye for detail, same goal: a home that feels as good to stay in as it looks in photos.
Salty Barefoot Stays is my way of sharing this little slice of the Gulf coast with people who need it as much as I do, and my way of letting guests book direct with me instead of through an app.
Welcome to the island. Nicole
Both homes sit in Isles of Capri, a quiet canal community wedged between Boca Ciega Bay and the Gulf, walkable to the beach, close to St. Pete, and built for slow mornings and dock views.
Quartz kitchens, quality linens, brand-new flooring, and thoughtful details at both properties, so your group can actually unwind from the moment you walk in.
Private outdoor space, room to gather, and layouts made for groups who want to spend real time together, grill nights, patio coffee, watching the boats go by.
I'm Nicole, owner and designer behind both homes, and an investor in Tampa Bay real estate. What makes these homes different comes down to three things I care a lot about: size, location, and design.
When I'm not working on Salty Barefoot Stays, I'm usually with my kids, at the gym, or making myself avocado toast for breakfast (it's a daily ritual at this point). At home, I've got two guinea pigs, Lulli and Popi, running the show.

I always respond quickly, because when you're on vacation, the last thing you want is to sit around waiting for an answer.
Nicole was wonderful she made the entire process smooth beginning to end. The house is very cute and themed and incredibly clean! Both rentals are connected to each other and served our family well. Will return!
It was our first time to treasure island and we loved it! The area is still recovering from Helene and Milton but there is a lot to do. The house is an easy walk to the beach. Centrally located to everything. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back again.
This was a great stay in Treasure Island! The location was perfect: a quiet neighborhood that was extremely walkable to restaurants, the beach, and a park. The place had everything we needed for our stay!
